Taking Care of Mattresses
Your mattress is an investment, and you should know how to care for it
properly
so that it will serve you well. Once we've taken the correct amount of
time in
choosing the right mattress, you should know how to care for it. Never
sleep on
your new mattress without first covering it with a sheet and at least
another protective
layer, such as a mattress cover or pad. This will protect your mattress
from dust
and spills.
Dust can actually cause wear on your foam mattress over time. Proper
mattress covers
also prevent dust mites and bed bugs from entering your mattress,
causing damage.
Lets not forget our own habits of drinking tea or coffee in bed at some
time or
another. It's far easier to protect your expensive mattress than try to
clean it
later.
